VAIO W Series introduces mini laptops from Sony. It uses Intel Atom Processor, 1GB DDR2 memory, built-in Wi-Fi, integrated Bluetooth and webcam. KidZui is a feature included with this series of laptops which could be used as a Web browser, search engine and online playground at the same time. However you can install Windows XP by formatting the current Operating System or to a different partition in the hard disk. System restore is the default option available with Windows to restore your Operating System. You can manually create a restore point and restore your system to that previous point. You may restore the system by using the ‘System Restore’ option given in ‘System Tools’. You need to select the date given in the calendar that appears and select the ‘Restore Point’ in the next box and follow the instructions to complete the System Restore.
With the Help of Recovery CDs
You can create a recovery CD of your Operating System using the programs available in to do so. This disc could be used to recover the Operating System by booting from the CD you have created. This can help you to boot from the disc without installing the Operating System.
Doing this can erase entire data from your hard disk. In order to perform this you need to insert a bootable Windows XP CD into your disc drive and boot from the CD. During the process you may be prompted to format your hard disk and create new partitions. Also you can format only the partition in which the Operating System is installed and reinstall the Operating System. This can help you in keeping the data in the remaining partitions. Follow the instructions and when the process is completed you would be able to restore Windows XP.
