The Sony VIAO F Series comes with Windows 7 installed on it as the Windows 7 has advanced technology and user interface. Most users don’t feel easy in operating it. So they want to relegate it to Windows XP. While installing Windows XP the most serious problem faced is during the time of installation and locating the drivers for it.

From the other devices you can select the device you like to install, right click on the device and select the update driver option. You will be prompted with a new dialogue box.
In the new window select the option to “not this time” and press ‘Next’, choose the ‘Advanced option’ and click ‘Next’. Here you can give the path where the driver is located then press ‘Next’. Windows XP will start installing the driver. After the installation of any driver you need to restart the computer otherwise it will not function properly. It can happen especially while installing the driver for display card and audio control devices.
