- Back up of online data
- Use original drivers
Hard drive failure
Hard drive failure is either predictable or unpredictable. Predictable failure may be caused due to damaged storage surfaces. On the other hand unpredictable drive failure is hard to detect as it occurs without any sign of warning which might be due to mishandling. The hardware issues might lead to extreme consequences such as system shut down, loss of data etc.
Changes in software code
Software is accompanied by source code which is a collection of statements written in the form that is readable by users. These codes may be in the form of reusable codes and if this code is changed it could lead to software problem due to which system performance drops and the operating system might also get corrupted. As a result the system might shut down suddenly.
Online data back up is an offsite data backup option which is considered to be a convenient form of backing up important files and folders to a remote server, so even when the files are lost due to unexpected shut down, they can be recovered by connecting to the remote server. If back up is not available, either it leads to data loss or might cost more to retrieve the recovery services.
Users are recommended to use only original drivers in their system. Bad drivers can result in various shut down issues which can even lead to complete system failure. Such unwanted drivers are capable of making a drastic fall in the system performance which can affect the users' work. Installing and using original drivers will ensure smooth functioning of the system.
