- Other error codes
- How to resolve these issues?
Error code during System Recovery
Whenever you perform a System Recovery with the help of recovery discs in your Sony VAIO E Series laptop, it might give you the following error. The normal error code in E Series laptop is the “41 return error task failed error -1” or simply an “Error 41”. This is due to the hard disk drive failure in the laptop. Then there is the “320 Error code” which arises due to problems in Recovery discs or the Optical drive. The same error code can appear if the RAM or the HDD has some problems. In case of a specific RAM problem, the computer could show the “Error code 400”. Other error codes include “305:64” and “305:69” that could arise due to problems in the HDD and Recovery discs.
“8000FFF” or “8024D000F” error code
The above mentioned error code can occur in Sony VAIO E Series laptops if the Software Distribution temporary folder in the computer is corrupt or affected by virus or if some important files are missing.
Some vague error codes can appear if the Recovery media disc you insert in your system does not match with the model number. A “Code 39” error could arise if your system is unable to load the driver file for a particular hardware. This issue could be due to the reason that the driver file is missing or some important components might be corrupted. “Error 5” can happen if there are any errors committed by the user during partition while performing a System Recovery.
In case of system recovery error code issues due to hardware problems, you can fix it only by repairing the affected hardware. In case of other System Recovery codes, you need to update the driver softwares regularly. The “8000FFF Error” can be fixed by updating the driver softwares of all the hardware components. Altogether the most important thing towards resolving error code issues in this particular laptop is to keep the drivers updated.
