Sony has officially unveiled its first ultrabooks, the Sony VAIO T11 and Sony VAIO T13. The ultrabooks will be available with a choice of 11.6-inch or 13.3-inch monitor screen, slick magnesium and aluminum chassis, and optional SSD storage.
Claiming a battery life of up to nine hours from the SSD models, the new Sony VAIO T11 and Sony VAIO T13 ultrabook models include full-sized VGA, HDMI and Ethernet ports, along with memory card readers, and both USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports.
Sony’s unique style comes into play too, with the Sony VAIO T11 and Sony VAIO T13 looking suitably distinctive with their squared-off edges and button-less trackpad. The 13-inch model comes in at 226 x 17.8 x 323 mm and weighs 3.5 pounds with a 1366 x 768 display.
No official word on pricing yet, but both the ultrabook models are anticipated to go on sale later this month.
