But if buying a 3D TV burns a hole in your pocket, then here’s an alternative. Sony has recently introduced its Personal 3D Viewer at the IFA consumer electronics show, offering customers an alternative to 3D TVs. Sony has moved way ahead of others in the field, busy launching smart phones, tablets, and similar stuffs. It has taken a big leap in the world of technology by launching a device that will surely remind you of all those science fiction movies that you always adored.
Shaped like a visor, Sony’s Personal 3D Viewer is a sleek headgear that offers you the experience of watching a 3D movie in the cozy comforts of your home. The headgear, which firmly rests on your head, is outfitted with a pair of headphones and two display panels. Each panel sizes 0.7 inch, thus providing 1280×720 resolution HD OLED for each eye. Just fit the headgear around your head and experience watching a 3D movie on a 750-inch screen at a 20-meter distance. For a live view of what is being shot, just connect the device to your camcorder. You can also connect your Personal 3D Viewer to your PlayStation.
