Experience 4G with Sony® Ericsson Xperia Play 4G
Now, Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY 4G will come bundled with AT&T. The telecommunication service provider recently announced that the company will provide its services with the new smart phone from September 18. This phone is the same one that was released for Verizon Wireless this year. The change however is that this time, it features Sony Ericsson's custom interface along with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, both of which were not available with the Verizon Wireless product.
Other technical specifications of Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY 4G are the same that were there earlier with the Verizon Wireless product. They include a 1 GHz processor, an Adreno 205 graphics chip, and the 4-inch display screen with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. The phone also has a dedicated, slide-out gamepad. It sports two cameras, a 5 megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera, which makes it a very useful device for video conferencing.
AT&T and Sony Ericsson are providing seven different pre-loaded games with this phone. They are:
• Dungeon Defenders Second Wave by Trendy Entertainment,
• Asphalt 6 Adrenaline by Gameloft,
• Star Battalion by Gameloft,
• The Sims 3 by Electronic Arts,
• Tower Bloxx: My City by Digital Chocolate,
• Crash Bandicoot by SCEA/Naughty Dog/Universal, and
• Madden NFL 11 by Electronic Arts
The Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY 4G is the first handset available with AT&T that is PlayStation-certified. This means that the users will have access to one hundred fifty games, which are all optimized for this handset. The handset will be available with AT&T with a two-year agreement and will be available in an elite "Stealth Blue" color-tone. The phone will come with Sony Ericsson's Multimedia Dock DK300 and MC100 music cable, both of which let the users to dock the Xperia PLAY 4G when not using the phone.
Start, September 18, Sony Ericsson PLAY 4G would be delivered at the AT&T stores. The service provider has quoted a price tag of $49.99 for a two-year contract, if you buy the handset from its stores.
